"My experience with Delta Cargo wasn't completely great. I was told when my flight carrying my cargo would arrive and what time I needed to be there to pick it up. I arrived at the facility at the time informed and the facility loading doors were open with a staff person there. I parked my vehicle and went to pick up my arrivals only to find they had closed all doors and locked the facility. I noted on the door the hours. It was not later than the closing hours noted. I had already been to this facility once only to find that my cargo was delayed a day in Salt Lake City, Utah. I had to drive the three hours back to my business until my shipment came in. Having spent one night in Memphis, drove back to my business, and then BACK to Memphis at the time I was told to be there, I was completely frustrated that they had locked the doors before closing hours noted. I was picking up live animals and HAD to get them. I repeatedly knocked on the door with my frustration setting in. An employee finally came around to the desk and opened the door for me. I noted the time on the clock to be 15 minutes prior to closing. It was explained to me that they lock the doors 15 minutes early so they can complete paperwork. My live animals were sitting RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I apologized and the employee was obviously frustrated that they had to pull the computer up again. I completely understand their frustration, however, the hours on the door need to be updated so the staff can complete their job as needed. The employee was NOT rude, and kindly completed my paperwork. I appreciate this individual's efforts and time."
