"In February of 2023 I had to have a full hysterectomy due to a mass that was found on my ovary. Dr. Santoso was concerned that it could be cancer and he recommended having a full hysterectomy. I agreed. Due the size of the tumor he could not do laparoscopic so I had to be opened up. This was to be my very first operation and I was really nervous about being put to sleep but Dr. Santoso has a great sense of humor and an incredible bed side manner. He actively listens to you when you speak and he really cares about his patients. After the surgery I just knew I was going to be in pain but there was never very much pain. I was so surprised. After my hysterectomy , he got the tumor biopsed and it was determined that I had stage one ovarian cancer. He believed that he got it all but he did suggest chemo because he said the form of cancer I had was very aggressive and sometimes little micro particles can be left behind and he wanted to make sure that wasn't the case. I went through 3 rounds of chemo and a few months later I went back for a CT scan where it was determined that I was cancer free. I truly felt blessed. I trust this doctor completely and that is something I don't say very often. I had to have some hernias repaired and Dr. Santoso told me could do that as well so I let him perform the surgery. I had that one in November of 2023. again there was no pain after the surgery and he repaired four hernias. Thanks to his urgent and professional care now I have never felt better. I am so thankful for everything that he does for me. There are a lot of doctors out there but I have never found a doctor that I felt cared so much like Dr. Santoso does. I pray nobody ever needs an oncologist but when they do I recommend this Dr. 100%. He is an amazing doctor and I'm so grateful I was referred to him."
