"They are very predigest at the prison camp very rude people they don't have any respect for other people"
"I was a guest of Millington Camp from Late 2005 til 2008. Mostly it exists for slave labor at Unicor and the Millington Navy Base. Inmates made mostly 13c an hour on the base and 40c to $1 at Unicor. The food was horrible. I was fired from the kitchen for telling someone on the phone about the unsanitary food. Boxes of fish stamped with “Not for human consumption and chicken stamped with Manufactured in Russia for Distribution in Georgia( not the state) that had thighs the size of a paper plate due to the amount of steroids in it. All of the meat was freezer burned. Medical is all but non existent. I witnessed someone lay on the ball field over 2 hrs with a bone protruding his ankle. Programming is a joke. One example is teaching and offering a certificate in Real Estate when no one convicted of a felony can obtain a real estate license in Tennessee. Drug classes were taught by inmates. Who taught several different ways to make methamphetimine. There is a half mile walking track that goes through a pine forest that’s nice and if you hit the back corner ,hop a 4’ fence and cut 100 yards across the corner of the cotton field you can grab a care package and be back in 7-8 minutes with a care package. One memorable Labor Day when we were allowed a family picnic, count was called early. At the end of count it was announced that “No way I’m calling Memphis and telling them 37 prisoners are gone. Use your cell phone or whatever it takes to get them back here in the next 30 minutes”. During the next 30 minutes everyone was back except two! Counselors??? Lol! They are there to take away good time. No help at all. Most guards were civil, one was horrible. Nicknamed USP because he thought no one deserved to be at camp. He was notorious for wanting to cavity search inmates against bop policy. But with no cameras, no oversight he did what he wanted. Fortunately i was only there for selling my wife’s pistol after a 20 year old pot charge. But haven’t even had a parking ticket since"
