"Attending the Institute for GOD is a decision that I will never regret. God's word provides us with clarity and gives purpose. It is seriously one of the best decisions I could have ever made. I'm only 24 and the amount of change that has come on the other side of just wanting to learn the word of God is something that I will be forever grateful for. Before attending the institute I felt lost, and that my life wouldn't amount to much. After going through the program I learned that God loves his creation and wants an actual relationship with his sons and daughters. Life isn't easy and I'm not going to say that l've done everything right or haven't made any mistakes because I definitely have. But I'm thankful that I had friends to talk to me and encourage me with scripture. Or even the ability to speak to mentors who have gone through the program to help me in my moments of need. Now, I co-manage a Tech company with my friends and I'm glad that I can critically think through how to use Technology in a way that is going to continue to serve God. Thank you so much"

"With the challenges I personally faced in school ( a large portion of my k-12 years), I am frequently surprised that I decided to attend college and that I decided to work at an After-School Program for middle schoolers. Because of my continued stay within the realm of education and from my personal experience, I am no stranger to the incredible need that the system has. What will probably surprise people the most is that I am not attending the Institute for an Education Degree. I am attending the Institute for a Biblical Studies degree. I don't have a class all about creating lesson plans and curriculum. I don't have a class about how to manage behaviors for the room full of children I attend to that all have varying needs. I have classes that teach me the Bible, often book by book. I have classes that show me what God intended for his people and everything he has done and is doing to restore people. That has been what has prepared me best to walk into a public school everyday after school is already over to spend meaningful time with middle schoolers. They are seriously in need but also so seriously cool. I thank my teachers at the Institute for seeing me in that same way, and giving me an example to follow for how to treat students. I credit their work with the Lord to have made developed my person so that I can do what I love. Which surprisingly, is hanging out in schools. God has loved me well by introducing me to the people at the Institute."

"Mentors and institute staff have always taken note and ensured I had support from every possible angle, no matter what I was going through. I have never had to face a trial alone. The Institute recognizes that biblical education is not just about getting a degree, it’s about learning to navigate the world and the one life that we get. I have experienced literally countless times the sacrificial love of the Institute staff, giving their lives to serving the people around them. They have given me so much of their time, listening to me, pushing me in the right ways, and showing me what I am actually capable of. They have sincerely altered the way I conceptualize the academic experience, and they’ve taught me that learning is genuinely about growing as a person, and not just being a statistic in a system. I cannot put into words the care I’ve received as a result of being accepted to the Institute. I cannot express the gratitude that I have for a people who are so willing to give their time to young people to truly learn what it means to live and serve like Jesus. The Institute has taught me to question things and interact with concepts and to sincerely interact with the world around me, humbly and with an ear open to God, ready to learn."
