I love that you had to have your ID scanned in before entering the strip and a security wand checked you. Felt as safe as I could with that. "Walking down Beale St. looking to kill some time on a Wednesday night, we happened upon this billiards hall and had a great time playing pool for an hour ($10/hr). There was no pressure to buy drinks (the place was empty around 8:00pm), there was no cover charge and we had the place to ourselves. The IPA on tap was perhaps the worst I've ever had in my life and I don't recommend it but a bottled beer might be a winner. The ambience was nice and the photos on the wall were a great touch."
