"Emerald Academy has done great by my children. They have improved in areas where they were weak and I really like the structured environment. The reason I can't give a five star because they give homework like your kid is already in college starting in 2nd grade - 8th grade. Some of the homework they give makes my brain hurts. But all in all Emerald is a great school."

"We signed our son up for Emerald Academy when he was 4 years old because we heard such great things about the school and wanted him to be able to start Kindergarten there. Our son is biracial and it's very important to us for him to go to a school that not only recognizes but celebrates diversity. The uniforms were attractive to us because it takes away from all of the competition of wearing the latest brands. Our son has a lot of trouble focusing and having two teachers in each classroom has really been an asset. They are able to work with each student individually. The curriculum is tough and the expectations are high. I feel like it really does prepare them for high school and college. Our son had to be held back in 1st grade this year but the amazing staff have been incredibly supportive which made all the difference for him. "My daughter has been attending Emerald Academy for 3 years. They have the most amazing teachers there. Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Brooks have shown my daughter so much love, encouraging her though her studies while supporting her emotional. They would never let her give up. Ms. Hicks bring science to life. She makes it so interesting and fun. I wish I had these teachers when I was in school. Emerald Academy is like a huge family. They care about each student both academically and emotional."

"This is our third school year with Emerald Academy. We are so proud of our kids and their accomplishments. I'm glad glad the staff will do what it takes to help the students thrive. They will stay late and offer tutoring. They will give the students more challenging curriculum if it is needed. They care about their students. Throughout this year, we haven't had to have a mass shut down like most other schools. They really are doing as much as they can to keep these kids safe and in person. They also offer virtual for the families that need to utilize that option. Is the school perfect? No, but no school is perfect. Are it perfect for our family? Absolutely.
