"Great school with an amazing science program."
"St.Mary's was my first school and church,I loved going there,back in the old days we didn't have uniforms,I attended school there from 1951 to 1956,it was the best times of my life growing up,I served on the Altar also,I am one of the First Original 14 Altar Boys of St. Mary's in Oak Ridge Tenn. Mr. and Mrs. Klemski were my sponsors for confirmation,and their son Johnny was my best friend,I am still in touch with him,his mother Celia still works in the cafeteria,I loved the Sloppy Joe sandwhiches,still,to this day,and I still drink Nehi Grape soda and eat Moon Pies,lol,Father Woodley and Father Scalia were the priests back then,and Sister Marie was my favorite teacher.I miss Oak Ridge,it was a great place to live.I have been back,in 2010,and was amazed that I could still remember how to get around,after all,I hadn't been there since I was 10 years old.What wonderful memories,and a great childhood and friends,most,of which I am still in touch with. Sincerely,Charles Brandt."
