"The ultrasound program put me into debt without the chance to graduate or finish and now I have to repay all these loans and I don't get to work in the field because they wouldn't let me finish. I was apart of the sonography class that switched to online learning when COVID first hit and I was already having a hard time with physics but having to learn online alone made it worse. Ended up failing the class and their policy is I get kicked out of the program.. NO you can't just retake the class and pay for it you get completely kicked out. A program I went through two years of schooling for and waited another year because the first year I didn't get in. I wouldn't recommend this program to anyone all these school loans for no job and no license in the end they say life's not fair but ya this actually really sucks. Can't find a job to be able to pay back student loans either so my life's great."
"TLDR: RUN don’t walk from South College. Attending this institution is one of my biggest regrets I have ever made. I attended 2 semesters and I am left with a $12,000 student loan from classes I could’ve taken at any community college. Keep in mind the courses I took were supplemented with random Youtube videos (THAT should have been my first red flag). I wish I had been more wary of attending a private institution, but I was young and eager to start my education. I will say the staff were always very helpful, but hemorrhaging money was not worth continuing."
"This school is all about the profit. They don’t want any real dedicated teachers in there, there’s no structure and fault you for their screw ups. I had a terrible experience here the dean of nursing is AWFUL absolutely acts out of spite and personal reasons for her setting students up for failure, they claim to uphold these perfect policies and standards and they really don’t. The lpn program is a complete joke and shi show"
"RUN AND I MEAN RUN!!!! Especially if you’re pursuing nursing. This is the WORST school I have ever step foot into…. Nobody and I mean NOBODY picks up the phone. They leave you hanging if you need something, but if they need anything, they’ll expect you to answer right away… I have left several messages, emails and phone calls for my student advisor. You don’t hear back from him until a month or two later to only ask how classes are going and if you need anything. Yet if you need anything, they’ll just ghost you. This school only cares about money and not your education or success. I owe them a little over $20,000 for not even a full year. Thankfully I left after my first year and went to a better different nursing school who actually cares, took my credits from South and a sooner graduation date. South College is one of the worst schools ever. RUN DON’T WALK!!!"
"Throughout a thorough review of this schools policies, processes, student conversations, and faculty actions, It has come to conclusion that this private institution is all about maximizing profit and pocketing dollars from a broken system and its’ vulnerable students. The shareholders and owners of this organization should take this as a wake up call. Their model has turned a blind eye to maintaining quality of education and allowed faculty to drift away from care for their students success and toward self serving actions to ensure they get that next raise or increase in compensation. I am deeply concerned for the quality of education being taught in this school, and lack of support for students. Specifically the current faculty of the Physician Assistant graduate program. Due to many items lacking in their process & programs, they are going to and should have a hard time getting fully accredited spring 2024. It has become clear that they boast a false claim of being “fully accredited” when they are in fact still in provisional stages and not yet fully accredited. This is a blunt misrepresentation and false advertisement. The reputation of this college is off to a very poor start. As a prospective student or parent of students, RUN. Far and fast. I encourage any and all students currently struggling due to faculty malpractices to first understand that they have done this to you and to make your case public and to not let them sweep you under the rug, just as they have done to cover up their poor teaching, poor professionalism, and extremely poor organization. These programs are without direction and the students are left consistently aimless in their schooling & preparation."
