"tbh this place is good, and imma be all up honest here. Ms.Leadbeater is the nicest and pretty chill she makes the classroom feel comfortable, and i love making essays because she lets us know what to do i normally refuse to do them but she makes it fun Mr.Mccurley is the funniest and he makes learning easier than normal teachers and my friends always talk about how oh Mr.Mccurley is the best and duh i agree!!! Mrs.Gardner is okay, i don’t like when she calls it out if someone gets a bad grade making the person feel bad, but she’s kind otherwise Mr.Thompson is the best some people may not agree but if you pay attention he becomes your friend and everyone in the class knows pretty much all the things he taught us to this day Mrs.Sowell she makes it comfortable to talk about your private life, unlike other counselors they make you cry and call cps so you don’t feel like you can trust anymore of them last but not least… Mrs.regnier she’s so fun, the boys in her career arts or class make it seem boring but it’s so fun to do projects in her classroom and she feels like a normal loving teacher, she also makes math easy this school is fine but if your all “quirky” and you draw on the bathroom walls and you make fun of the teachers i could see why, lmfao - d "
"i got pulled out of school but i got bullied and all they did was made the person bullying me walk around the school, which is obviously upsetting but some of the teachers were pretty cool."
"Two years ago, Thurgood was a great school. The change in leadership(principal) cause a significant change for the worse. My child started Thurgood in sixth grade. Within a week the previous principal knew his name. Mr.Gilkes was there an entire semester and wasn’t familiar with the students( Pre-COVID). The school was welcoming with the former principal. Not so much with Mr.Gilkes. An education doesn’t necessarily mean that you qualify for a position. In my opinion, he lacks compassion for students. In order for children to succeed, you have to show you care. The times that I had interaction with him, he did not exhibit that quality. Thurgood Marshall is not the worst school in the district but it is definitely not what it was when the former principal was present."
"the school ight by the way this billy LOL.. the school cool but 7th grade teacher mrs. gardner highly disrespectful but i cant say nun in her class but this right here is my time wym. she rude shey'll put you on the spot and is just annoying. now mrs battle aka mrs no eyebrows is moody. her monthly tingzz ruin her mood every time.
