"Helen is great with scheduling always so easy. My daughter has Adam for drums and she loves it!"
"Update : The owners reply is complete bogus, but who wouldn't want to defend their business from a less than perfect review? If they had tried even a smidgen as hard as she says they did, our experience would have been much different. I really wish I could give this music school 5 stars, but they really didnt earn it. My son started lessons and was really enjoying it BEFORE he started their Rock101 program. I suppose that for those kids who are fully immersed in music, that is a great program. However, for those of us raising a child with multiple interests, it's just TOO MUCH. The school highly suggests that is you're enrolled in multiple lessons that you also enroll in their Rock101 program. Being brand new to the school, we fell for the pitch and did just that. We were TOLD that if our child wanted to sing as well as play the drums, then he had to be enrolled in Voice lessons as well. So we did that! Then, they take a whole group of kids, who are all brand new to the Rock101 program, and try to get them to work in sync at the direction of their band leaders. That sounds great, right? I thought so too... but there is NO PARENTAL involvement allowed, they do not communicate how things are going with your child in Rock101 (aka band practice) and they expect all of these kids to learn 7-8 songs over a 3-4 month period! To top it off, our son is ADHD and on the spectrum, but was made to understand that if he couldn't get his songs down (after 3 sessions!) then they would give his part to someone else! THEN, they distribute the new cast list, and low and behold, you DON'T have to be enrolled in voice lessons to be the lead singer.... So, I am going to SAVE my $415/month (yup!) and move my kid to a school that cares to teach him the drums at HIS PACE. He can start a band in in our GARAGE when he's READY!"
"School of Rock has been such a great expirence for our son. They have really fostered a love of music in him. He loves his instructor and loves playing with other kids. It’s a great place with great people."
"The instructors and staff are very knowledgable and friendly. My kids love being able to perform onstage!"
"Friday September 11, 2015, The Franklin School of Rock opened for Night Ranger at the Soybean Festival in Martin, TN and put on an exceptional performance! Their music and vocals were virtually flawless and a fantastic tribute to the original artists. We could hear countless praises and positive comments from the audience. My wife and I were truly amazed at how well this young group performed and the passion they had for '70's to current Rock and Roll music. This event was our introduction to the "Real" School of Rock and it was very impressive. Keep up the great work and we hope to see many of these performers as the main attraction in years to come!"
