"I'm very disappointed with the overall experience here. From the uninformed office staff, to the lack of communication in billing and to the overall feeling like they don't have your best interest in mind at all, I would not recommend Psychological Consultants. on the first visit, I was instructed not to make a payment for services until information from my insurance was received and the level of testing was determined. I then received a phone call from their billing personnel asking why I haven't paid and accusing me of attempting to not pay for services rendered. Not cool. Once they had determined the level of testing, I paid in full and they only tested about 1/3 of what I was billed for. When I inquired why further testing wasn't conducted, they stuck to their decision and said they were the experts and knew best. This didn't sit well with me and I insisted they complete all testing I had asked (and paid) for. On our return visit, I feel like they just don't have my kid's best interest in mind. I keep being reminded of how "this is why we didn't ask this or that". I just don't have a comfortable level of confidence that our needs will/can be met by this group and regret coming here in the first place. My advice if you are considering services, everything needs to be in writing. (From the initial meeting, to the billing, to the expectations and the diagnosis.)
