"The Owner Tammy Is Very Incompetent"
"If I could give a 0, I would. I never actually got to schedule my intro session because the therapist was so unorganized. We texted for 6 days, and had 2 phone calls, eventually setting a date and time when she called me mid day on a Saturday, though I never received a confirmation email, text, or link in my portal. She kept forgetting who she was talking to where it was via text on or the phone when I was trying to get a confirmation, and never wrote it down so she would forget we had an appointment. She tried to change the date and time of my session after yet again forgetting we had one, and when I set boundaries upfront that we needed to stick to a date and time, she began sending me rude and aggressive text messages being very defensive and aggressive. I was polite and the texts were unwarranted. She said she didn't think we would be a good fit and that I needed to find a therapist who had a more rigid schedule (ironic because that was not the issue here). I agreed that we were not a good fit and we work with my EAP to find a new provider - no harm done. This seemed to make her incredibly mad even though I was just agreeing with her that it wasn't a good fit. She then continued to send me aggressive texts trying to blame me for her disorganization, and just being defensive in general. I eventually had to block her phone number because she would not stop sending me these texts. It truly was a bizarre experience, and not something I would have expected from a therapist. Especially considering therapists work with vulnerable people."
