"What an amazing place! One of the best pre-cares for the nails I’ve ever had, topped off with a solid forearm massage."

"The nail technician that helped me was very kind and did a great job given how old the nail polish was (which I should have checked before choosing but was in a rush) Given how lumpy the color was, it was taking longer to dry and and changed the fan to a higher setting. The owner who I think is named Van who had not noticed me before came over angrily and changed it back down. After 6 minutes of drying she touched my nails and said they were dry enough as if prompting me to leave. I drove home with the air on max to dry my clearly still semi wet nails only to inevitably smudge one. The technician was lovely but I was very out off my the owner. I don’t normally post, but I’m a postpartum mama and the times I get to pamper myself are precious. Saddened that my manicure is looking less than ideal after less than an hour."

"I went back to Van today to get my eyebrows done, after 3 years not being in the US and she was phenomenal! She takes such care and really is diligent with her work. Also has a great demeanor. I highly recommend."

"While the salon is unassuming and no frills, the mani and pedi are by far the best in town. All of the women who work there take their time cleaning, shaping, and painting your nails, so you always leave with a perfect service. No one rushes and they are all super sweet. Also, all the tools are taken out of a new bag before every service."

"The owner of this business, Van, has a serious attitude problem. Last Friday, I made my third visit to her nail salon in two weeks. She didn't acknowledge me in any way. From the start, she told me she had only little time to take care of me, barely responded to my attempts at conversation while she was doing my nails and kept acting irritated, saying she hadn't had lunch yet etc., as if she had a personal beef with me. If so, I'm not clear what that could be, since I left her a tip on my first two visits. Like the other times I was in, she kept bantering and babbling in Vietnamese to her employees while they all dealt with customers who clearly cannot understand a word of it. Unbelievably rude. I could not help thinking of the famous Seinfeld episode when Elaine is being slighted at her regular nail salon and she finally enlists the help of Mr. Costanza to decipher what the heck they're saying about her in Vietnamese. They do a good job with your nails (hence the 2 stars) but I refuse to patronize a business where I'm so obviously not welcome. There are tons of other nail salons steps away so, unless Van has elected you as one of her favorites, I'd advise you to steer clear of her path."
