"I’m trying to contact this location so I could get a copy of my Covid vaccine that I had received back in March of 2021. The number listed keeps disconnected my calls. I am trying to get an updated copy for school."
"If I could give 0 stars I would. I signed up for a COVID shot, I wanted the Johnson & Johnson shot so I called to make sure I could get it. I was told they get 40 a day and it is first come first served. Well, I was there for the first appointment of the day and I was 20 minutes early. That is when I was told that you have to have a reservation for the J&J shot. Well, that is not what i was told and I told the man that. The nurse came by and told me to wait. Thirty minutes later, the man came out to my car to tell me again that you have to have a reservation. I told him I understand, but not only did it not say that on the signup sheet, but I was not told that when I called them. He told me that they were doing a favor for the city of Memphis. Now, the day before a friend of mine went and was able to receive the J&J shot without a reservation. I told the man I would like to speak to someone else because he just kept saying the same thing to me over and over. He said he was the guy in charge... really... YOU are the guy in charge and you are in the parking lot handing out patient authorization forms, I don't think so. He was rude, impatient and unprofessional. I would never recommending this place for anything after that kind of treatment."
"I was really recommend everyone to this place, the office very clean, the service very quick and the staff is very friendly and nice, thank you for my COVID-19 vaccine shot"
"I took my elderly and disabled 76-year-old parents here for their covid vaccine. I was expecting a drive-up clinic, as I had been trying to get an appointment at the Midsouth Colesium location for weeks. I thought that is what I was signing up for, but I was just trying to get whatever open slot I could. The location turned out to be a place called First Pharmacy on Alice Ave. Not only was it not a drive-up vaccination spot, it WAS NOT EVEN HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE. When I expressed my shock at learning that, the guy at the door acted like I was expecting too much. You know, like I was being spoiled and entitled because I wanted my father to be able to enter and exit the building without risking serious injury. I was shocked and disappointed at the lack of basic handicap accessibility, but it had been such a hassle to get an appointment that I just shoulderered through it. The building had a ramp, but it was at the front door, "which is locked" and they "don't have the key." On top of being inaccesible, once inside, there was only one entrance and exit. So, everyone, regardless of age or condition had to enter through a side door kept propped open with a small garbage can. There was a stoop with three steep steps leading to the door. There was not a handrail. The steps were slick with rain. There was no exterior light. On the way out to the car, Dad almost fell several times. I was struggling to keep him up and I called for help. No one who worked there helped, it was other patients , kind strangers who happened to be there, who helped me get dad to the car. There was no handicap scoop on the sidewalk, either, just a wet, dark drop onto the pavement. On top of it all, when I asked where the restrooms were, I was told they were out of order "because we have no running water right now." I am not sure what that place does or pretends to do, but the least they can do, if they are going to be soaking up federal contracts, is to follow the laws and make the place accesible."
"I can't believe how this pharmacy operates. I was signed up for the one on Bellevue, but they moved to this address. Was I told? No. Was my medicine still delivered to me? No. Was I given the new number to check and see why? No. This is not good business. I wonder how many other people are not getting their medicine. I liked that they would bring the medicine to me, but after this I'm going back to my old pharmacy."
