"Worst haircut of my life... for a place located in the heart of downtown San Diego and charging $100+ for a haircut, they sure fooled me. With that kind of location and pricing, you'd expect top-tier service...otherwise, how do you stay in business??? My guess is that the owner is renting chairs out to novice barbers and has constant turnover... they really are scamming people. I had a nightmare of an experience today. My stylist, Kandice, arrived 15 minutes late to my appointment. I was seconds away from leaving...and I should have. Her styling skills are worse than her timeliness. I feel like I was a test subject for her ongoing on the job learning. . . My fade is super jacked up, and it looks like I did it myself. Anyhow, I voiced my issues with the cut.... she wanted to stop cutting and let me leave mid-cut... As I continued to complain, she said my haircut is free of charge... I would advise to stay the heck away from this place if you value your hair. This place has novice apprentice vibes of someone starting their career at SuperCuts."

"Scheduled a haircut with Justin L. He text me to let me know he was “running late” and ended up “forgetting the keys to the shop” and wasn’t able to get me in for a haircut. This was already 15 min after the scheduled time. He seemed apologetic initially, but when he said he was willing to give me a refund, he delayed. Multiple days went by with no refund. Then weeks, no refund. Then he ghosted me. Took the 65$ I paid, 50 plus $15 prepaid tip without any services whatsoever. I hope their 3rd party services work for the other Barbers, but with Justin L, don’t trust him. He goes against his word, takes your money and offers no refunds. thanks for nothing Justin L. Ps I have all the texts to prove he is untrustworthy"

"Do yourself a favor. If you want a good haircut, do not discuss the blessings you have in your life. That stylist that always helped you out will always fawk up your hair when you need a clean cut the most. Don't waste your $$$ here. It's overrated."
