"I've been looking for a simple barbershop not a salon just to get a haircut. My former barber retired & the new owners are about appointments & they charge extra for everything including trimming my goatee. I found this location by accident & it's not much further than the previous spot. Even $5.00 cheaper for a simple haircut. Two ladies are here & both I'm comfortable with to cut my hair. It's a little hidden inside the shopping center & the island on Central ave doesn't allow a left turn for northbound traffic. It's in the shopping center next to St Margaret Mary church & on the same side."

"I stand corrected. I previously posted a bad review because of 1 bad visit here but, I learned with any business, 1 bad experience doesn't always necessitate demeaning a business with a bad review. C'mon, everyone has a bad day but, of course, repeated bad experiences would warrant a bad review. I am back to correct that bad experience and review with a positive review because I learned that my one bad experience at Richard's Barber Shop was an anomaly and NOT the norm. I returned recently to get one of the best haircut experiences of life by Hong! The extra steps she took to ensure her guests felt safe and protected during these strange COVID-19 times was the mark of a true professional; the 6-feet spacing, sweeping the hair and disposing of it after each cut, an alcohol wipe-down of each chair after a cut...the mark of a true professional. And, of course, a great haircut by nice staff! In short, my favorite Barber shop!"
