"Steven has been a professional barber since before 2010, when I started going to him. He has been so successful that he only goes by appointments and Barberluck is his latest project. He's also involved with Active Barbers, which has two locations in Santa Monica and Culver City. Barberluck is closer to me, so I'll probably be going here now. This guy is meticulous. The lighting at this shop tells you he's a modern guy with good taste. But the old school chairs, detailed kit, and careful workmanship tells you his skill is classic. Your great grandpa would feel he was in good hands. Steven takes great pride in his work, so he won't hire just anyone. I haven't gotten a cut from Armando but I've known him for a long time and he used to be at Active Barbers in Culver City. Finally, Steven has a great heart. This used to be Joe's Barber Shop, Steven's childhood barber. He has always said one day he would buy the shop and give back to the community. I'm sure Joe senior would be proud to have Steven continue the barber legacy, even if it's under a different name and more modern look."
