"I read the 5* reviews, and I was disappointed. This is by far my worst barber experience......I was lucky if the haircut lasted 8 minutes, and it was an empty shop. I was so surprised when he started drying my hair. There was no check back during the cut at all.....it was just finished, and "$22 cash please !" I have made an appointment elsewhere to finish it off. Disappointing."

"Mark is about as real as they come. He took note of my area code when I called and greeted my as the "man from Connecticut" when I entered. We had spoken about my cut for a quick second on the phone and he'd already had all of instruments needed lined up and ready to go. Mark knows his stuff and is perfect if you're looking for a genuine, no-frills experience and some very real conversation. A refreshing change of pace from the many hollow smiles one finds in the city. I would absolutely return whenever in town!"
