"The food might be a little good. But the guy there he's such a jerk? An elderly lady went to ask for the restroom, he told her first you must buy atleast a soda. With this sarcastic look. I'm like oh my God. really? That just turned me off . So so rude, An elderly woman that maybe had problems physically. But that attitude oh my God so RUDE! OH AND THE FOOD VERY SMALL PORTIONS."

"A lil hole in the wall place but very traditional Mexican food with great taste I myself like a somewhat large portions thats all I found about the food small portions. Everything else was on point atmosphere was relaxing service great a place to try when your in the area....I'm coming back"
"A sweet little piece of Mexico with its full flavors and full onset artistry feel. Love. love the chorizo burritos, chilaquilles w/sunny side up eggs and Machaca with rice and beans. It's what I had and since then I've been hooked. I enjoy coming here with my husband and enjoying a quiet and flavorful Mexican dish- reminding me of my childhood days - eating good home cooked Mexican food. I strongly recommend La Carreta Mexican Restaurant. Street parking only."
"New owners who waited on us and seemed to care about this place that is a wonderful throwback to the old days and has been in operation since 1930. The food is very good; they also bought the recipes. When we came back a second time it took half an hour to order because the waitress was absent from the place - another table also came in and then they were served first. I would not go back; there are too many other places in the neighborhood. They use store-bought tortillas unlike other places nearby."
