"Sonoritas is a great date spot or a place to drink, eat and catch up with a large group of friends. The place is vibing with music, cocktails and eats! I love the well thought out ambiance and decor of the restaurant - it's very LA and in a good way. The food is a bit on the pricey side (approx $23 for taco platter, which includes 2 tacos and a side of rice and beans), but does go down a bit for their bowls and burritos unless you select add-ons. Food is pretty good, but due to price not my favorite. Cocktails are good, but lacking a tad in volume. However, don't let that stop you from trying Sonoritas. I love the vibe and would still recommend it! The most popular item on the menu were any of the Tierra dishes, so I opted for the Mar y Tierra tacos, which was Angus beef (?) and shrimp. Pretty good, but next time I'll probably order the tacos a la carte if given. The rice and beans were a tad uninspiring. If you roll with a large group there are a lot of long tables on the patio. The patio is vibing just as much on the outside as on the inside. And if you want a spot to grub before the Laker game and away from Nokia, another spot on Flower for you to check out!"

"The food and drinks were great! We ordered the burrito (Mar y Tierra with beef and shrimp- dry, and the Mar y Tierra 2.0 with filet mignon and lobster-wet) and tacos (bbq short rib, shrimp, and barbacoa- this was my favorite). The meat was cooked to perfection and the flavor was really well balanced. For drinks we had the sparkling sangria, Jamaica mojito, hibiscus margarita with mezcal. For dessert we had the flan which had a great taste and consistency (not too sweet). The staff was very warm and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant was very romantic by the bar (it had a speakeasy feel to it). It’s def a good place for date night or drinks and dinner with coworkers. When you’re there ask for Josh, he’s amazing!"

"Wonderful experience all around! The food was incredible, drinks were great and the service...absolutely top notch! Joshua, the manager, was costumer focused and made our visit very enjoyable. As visitors we appreciated his recommendations for local stops and things to do. Our server, Mario, made our visit smooth, enjoyable and easy. Also, if you're looking for a local place to try some new Tequilas...you just found it! Greatvnews...they offer flights! We will for sure visit here again during our stay and make it a solid recommendation for anyone visiting LA!"
