"Fun spot. Good food. Unique and different flavors than some generic ones out there. Had the fajitas and the Deluxe Burrito which I suggest splitting. It’s freakin huge. Served was great. They are on top of it. Fajitas are a show. They come out like a tornado of steaming clouds. Stiff drinks. Great outdoor seating. Good find."
"Went here on a Saturday around 7 and didn't have to wait for a table for 2 despite it being fairly busy. Everyone was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I got the cheese enchilada/chile relleno combo with a mango margarita and it was all really good! We sat outside on the patio which had a really nice ambience as well. Would definitely recommend!"
"We had the chicken fajita, very differently prepared, as it had a tomato paste sauce and was not a charbroiled chicken breast. It would be acceptable if you love alot of tomatoes, and dark chicken meat. second dish was the beef soup, awful taste of meet blood, how much more gross can you get,, and the positive side the place was packed, meaning there are others that ordered different things and they loved it. And of course the service was great and so was the blended peach margaritas. *****I just updated my review and added one more star, that is solely because the owner responded that I could have changed my food by just asking for it. This response shows how caring this restaurant is for customers to be satisfied.***'"
"My favorite Mexican food in LA is right here at Don Antonio’s. It’s not too salty like some other Mexican places I’ve been to, yet flavorful enough. The margaritas always taste great and strong enough. I always get great service even when it’s slammed and the salsa is spicy enough to wake me up. Fairly priced with a cozy seating and decor. Took away one star because I just wish they could dim the lights more or maybe change the color, I don’t know. It’s just not the best lighting."
"One of my very favorite Mexican restaurants in LA. I grew up in San Diego and have lived LA for many years now so I have had many great Mexican meals and would say this place is definitely quality. Service was quick and everyone did a great job. It’s impossible to make reservations so we had to wait about 20 minutes for a 7:30 Saturday dinner. They don’t have a parking lot so you’re only option will be street parking or neighborhood parking behind the restaurant. To start I chose a cup of the Albondigas Soup and honestly loved it. I could’ve easily ordered the bowl and definitely would get it again next time. For my entree, I chose one of my favorite dishes: The Chile Colorado. It was well cooked and it was a large portion size. For dessert, we chose the Xango and it was terrific. A great end to the meal. Overall I would recommend to any fan of Mexican food and I definitely plan to be back many times in the future."
