"Fantastic in-store service after a less-than-perfect online experience My wife has wanted a pair of Doc Martens forever, but after we had a not-so-great experience trying to buy them online, she was wary. She had purchased a pair for our niece and herself for Christmas, but only my nieces arrived. Even after submitting a picture of the half-packed order, DocM customer service told us we were out of luck.. not excellent for such a profitable company. HOWEVER!!! I convinced her to head to the retail location, and the attentive, welcoming experience from the staff was incredible. The sales associate was terrific, and her suggestions for the Italian leather boot to minimize boot break-in blues were on point! I wish I got her name because she was delightful! We left with new boots, rainbow laces (wife's favorite color), and a new purse with sturdy buckles. Doc Martens's online services could learn a lot about how to treat customers from their retail staff."
