"Customer service reigns supreme at this small chain of European shoe stores. Saw a pair of Spanish clogs at their Santa Barbara store. The wonderful German manager ordered me a pair and I picked up in Redondo a week later. Shoes lines are extremely well designed and curated for comfort and style, but not cheap. ( i.e.walk all day in them) My cobalt blue clogs were $180 and I get compliments every time I wear them. ALL DAY comfort. I will be back. German, Spanish, Italian, Danish and US brands."

"It was my favorite shoe shop for years. But I have been back 4 times in the last 6 months. The woman manager ceases to help and ask if I want to try anything on.im fact, it is like she ignores me on purpose. I've left all four times and will never be back. I will visit the other locations."

"The woman who helped me here was sooo friendly and helpful! My old Birkenstocks were....a little bit ragged, and I figured I'd just buy a new pair online. But, I walked by and saw Birks in the window and decided, hell, let's see what they got. Not only did they have the shoe I was looking for, but the woman took one look at my feet+shoes and told me I was probably narrow size - whoa, my old pair *was* a narrow size, and I had completely forgotten! Phew....I would've bought the wrong size if I'd purchased online. Super knowledgeable and friendly, and a pretty good selection of both comfy shoes + good looking heels."
