"Firstly, Erica is over priced. She wanted $115 for 2 feed-in braids. I’ve had this service done multiple times and was only charged maximum $50. However, everyone else was booked and I was trying to get an appointment last minute so I went ahead and booked the service. My service was scheduled for 5:30 pm. On the day of my appointment which was on a weekday Erica sent me a text at 1:39 pm asking me to confirm my appointment. I was at work so unfortunately I did not see the text until 3:20. By then she sent me a text saying that she was canceling my appointment because I had not responded with a confirmation. This was not a matter of days or even days it was 1 hour. She gave me 1 hour on the day of my appointment 4 hours before my appointment to confirm. I wrote back asking her not to cancel as I was at work and did not see the message on my but she didn’t care. She stated she already booked another person and I could use my deposit for another day. The point of making an appointment and putting a deposit is to come on the day you need the service done. I told her I didn’t need her service for another day and to please refund my deposit and she refused. She wouldn’t answer my calls and then said she was working with a client and didn’t have time to talk to me about this. I just feel that if you have a business and you as the business owner cancel the appointment you should at least refund the deposit to the client especially if you cancel their appointment at the last minute. Not only did she refuse to refund me a $50.00 deposit, she was rude about it. Please be aware if you want to get your hair done by her. She’ll cancel your appointment at her discretion and keep your money. At this point it’s no different than you stealing money from me."

"I thoroughly enjoyed getting my hair done here. Erica was able to fit me in very swiftly and I was able to get my braids done in a time efficient manner. This was very helpful for me as a busy student. Her shop was very clean and both her and her daughters were extremely professional. I can speak nothing but high praise for her work!"
