"(For Lisa AND for my Mom-R.I.P.>1/14/2021) I saw Lisa Torres on 6/25 (sorry this took so long!). My mother would see Lisa practically every month to get her hair done… and catch Lisa up on all the latest gossip! Even when her hair looked beautiful, she’d say it was for a “touch-up” job (much to my father’s dismay - but ONLY when money was tight). Looking back I can’t help but smile because Lisa and my mom got along like two peas in a pod. Lisa is an absolutely wonderful person.. and so was my mom. Anyways, things became a bit over-whelming for me and I sort of took it out on my hair (Eek!). I ended up with bangs again and when I sent Lisa a picture, her first question was whether I’d colored my own hair.. lol.. At that point, I knew I had to see her for some hair R&R which THANK YOU LISA because it worked!!! We might of cried just a bit, but we laughed more about the memories of my mom then anything. Which I can’t thank her enough for, but I’ll still try! Thank you Lisa.. For helping me to remember the good days and not get so focused on the bad ones. AND that my mom ALSO had more friends than she had opinions. And she had a lot of them - opinions. And OH MY GOODNESS! My hair! I absolutely LOVE it!!!! Sorry this is so long! Love you! -Shannon B."
