"Amazing ! Got exactly the color and shine I was hoping for! Quick , easy and knowledgeable colorist! It was my first time using this company and I will be back! Thank you for making my day!"
"Had my hair done today at Madison Reed. What a great experience! While I was there quite a few ladies were having their hair colored also. I was having a highlight with foils. To bring Dimension back into my dull mouse malcy brown/blonde hair also wanting It to camouflage my incoming silvers . I explained to Rachel what I wanted. And to be sure. she repeated it back to me in her own words and We agreed we underrstood each other. So with that we began the process and I was in and out of there within an hour and a 1/2- 2 hours at most. It was really a great experience. The Madison Reed bleach product is very gentle yet did a great job at bringing my hair to the highlighted level I needed. I am very happy with the results and feel good about myself again .Thank you Rachel you did a great job. Thank you Madison Reed for a product this gentile my hair feels great! at"
"I was in need of gray coverage, 3/4 of my long hair was virgin hair. My ends had old highlights. I heard good things about Madison Reed and a new location opened in Tustin. I spoke to the receptionist (?) about their products and told her my concerns. She scheduled me with their more experienced hair professional, Dawn. She also reassured me that gray coverage is their specialty. I came in the next day for my appointment and I had Alyssa doing my hair, not Dawn. She was very friendly and worked with me on color selection. I told her I wanted a warm medium brown color, I emphasized that I did NOT want any auburn/violet or any type of cool tones in my hair. My hair is a dark brown with a lot of red in it, information I also conveyed to her. We decided on Napoli Brown although I was concerned that there was violet in there. She reassured me that violet was only in there to offset any yellow/gold tones. She's the professional so I trusted her. And the color looked very nice on their website. After processing someone else washed my hair, leaving residual dye in my ears which I cleaned up at the blow drying station. Apparently you blow dry your hair unless you specify you want a blowout (+45), a piece of info not conveyed to me. My hair color was exactly what I did NOT want, it was dark with burgundy/violet undertones! No warmth to it at all, only cool tones! The bottom part of my hair is really dark, does not match the top color! I definitely have hot roots. That’s probably the only part of my hair that looks warm in the sun. When I got in my car I noticed I still had gray hair visible everywhere!!! I went back the next day and spoke to Dawn to see how we could fix the color issue and lack of gray coverage. She literally shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry, we can't help you. If you had read the reviews online you would have seen that our products don't work on everyone and unfortunately you're one of those people" I did not see this disclaimer anywhere in the salon or online!!! As far as the color goes, she just disagreed with me that there was any burgundy or cool tones. She comped my bill and said they don't have the products to fix the problem THEY created. So now I have to find a hair salon that can fix THEIR mistake which will cost me significantly more and I don't know if my hair will be the right color for pictures we have coming up in a month!!! NOT a good experience. (I don’t know why my posting was removed, please do not take down)"
"I don’t know what is going on with this studio. I made a lot of online hair color orders for my friends, family members and co-workers to try out for their first time. I chose the pick up location in Tustin because it’s close to my work place. Unfortunately, every time I came and pick up, they always say that they run out of bags and let me carried all the boxes with my bare hands. How much does a bag cost compare to the branding marketing they are trying to promote? While the customers carry around Madison Reed bag, they also promote their branding, making it known and familiar to the new users. What is wrong by providing a bag for an order of 4 boxes or more? I felt so frustrating and disappointed every time I had the same answer from the ladies here. Always we are running out of bags."
