Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

"I came here on Feb. 29 for a trim and highlights. First time here. Was looking for a new salon to become my regular place. Spoke with Josie and she quoted me $120 for highlights, which was high as I don't have a lot of hair. She got manager and price changed to $80. Ok, So Josie was going to do the trim and highlights. I told her not to use any toner on my hair, as toner always dulls the color. I also explained that I don't use purple shampoos as they also diminish the blond highlights I'm trying to achieve. After the highlights, Josie showed me my hair before she shampooed it. It looked very blond. We go to wash it and I felt shampoo all over my face, (she is a sloppy shampooer), I see that the suds are purple!! I ask Josie if she is using a purple shampoo and she said YES! After I told her I don't use that! She didn't seemed concerned at all. No apology. NEVER, in all the years of getting my hair highlighted, has a stylist ever used a purple shampoo on me. I was angry. I kept telling her she should've asked me first! So, yes, my blond highlights look very dull and faded because of that shampoo. I paid good money to have bleach blond highlights but wound up with dull and faded looking hair - the back is way too dark. She also took too much hair off....the length I had is gone. Why don't stylists know the difference between a cut and trim?? Had this gone well, this would've been my new go to salon. It isn't. I'm so very unhappy. I didn't get what I paid for. Your stylist is at fault for not listening. I'd like a refund."

"This place is quick and inexpensive. If you go in with reasonable expe tations for a $20 haircut it's great. Dont expect a lot of artistic styling or curling but if your cut is a simple one then it's the right place"
