"I dont like the color , they didn’t go according to my quiz result color and I specifically said I don’t want red tones and they went ahead did the other color and now it shows red on my highlights"

"Horrified. I grew my hair for months and came in for blonde highlights and my entire head is orange and white. The manager apologized and said she doesn’t understand what could have happened but there is nothing more she can do but dye my entire head dark brown. I was told that due to the stylists mistakes, I would have to go some place else for color corrections or my hair will go back to orange. Everyone is apologizing, but what good does that do? I am leaving this salon with multi colored damaged and breaking hair."

"Sorry to inform that I went to Madison Reed yesterday hoping for a service they claim but it was certainly a disappointment . I had booked and received service for "All Over Color + Blowout ($155.00)" + tip, but my grey hair was still visible in the front !! I wonder how a professional salon like Madison Reed make such claim of 100 % grey coverage , when the grey hair is visible in their first wash in the salon !! The staff should deal with a client patiently and not rush off without discussing the result. Even the colour dye on my forehead was not cleaned properly. "Do not go to this place! I had an appointment yesterday and it’s the worst hair highlights job that was ever done to my hair! I got white/yellow large bleached sports and patches on the top of my head and left side. I can not believe it was done by a “licensed” professional! After paying $155+tips now I have to go to a normal salon to fix this horror! Their toner covers the bleached sports until the first wash. Update: Madison reed corp emailed me confirming that they “messed up” and offering to come back to their salon to fix this (no refund option was offered). Today I went to a regular licensed salon and was quoted $300 to fix it and was told to wait at least 3 weeks, because the over processed bleached hair might fell off if more bleach will be applied to it! But the Madison reed corp rep does not think it’s a problem. I guess if this happens it will be my problem not their! No way in hell I’m returning to this place!"

"My regular stylist took a month off due to a family issue so I scheduled a root touch up and gloss at Madison Reed in San Ramon. My colorist was Mercedes who was awesome. We agreed on a color and Mercedes was kind, professional and informative. She explained how the process worked since it was my first time and they have a new kind of business model for a salon. I was impressed with how efficient it was and the cost is very reasonable. I didn't catch the name of the woman who washed my hair but she was also really nice and suggested a hydration treatment, which I ended up doing. I dried my own hair and really liked that it was an option. I was really happy with the color and might end up sticking with MR for color instead of my regular salon. They also offer a membership for root touch ups which is at an amazing price."
