XUNTOS

"We were nearly discouraged by a few unsavory reviews, but I'm so glad we gave Xuntos a try. Everything was excellent and authentic! Maybe too authentic for some. Reminder: Not all Spanish food is the same, just like most places! We found ourselves wanting everything and enjoying all that we tried, starting with the pintxo amuse and ending with almond cake. Standouts included the amazing Galecian empanada - so unique - and the simply divine anchovy on buttered brioche toast - what a salty, savory, buttery, and slightly crusty yummy bite. But lamb, pork rib, pan con tomate, croquetas, and patatas all hit their marks. Service was super efficient and helpful - maybe felt a tad rushed - but they were packed. We like Manchego and Teleferic, but we'll probably come back to Xuntos again first."

"Cannot speak positively enough about XUNTOS. My friend and I, young women in our 20s, went with the expectation that we might be spoken down to, etc, at such a nice place, but could not have had a more opposite experience. The staff was SO KIND, allowing us to try different wines and teaching us all about the natural style of fermenting that they serve there. We had the most amazing night and are so grateful (esp me who grew up visiting family in Spain!) - and we’re already telling all our friends who also appreciate good European food & wine:) cannot wait to be back!"
