"I just had a gel pedicure and a massage here and both were AMAZING!!! I recommend making an appointment because the nail area only has a few chairs but I walked in with my best friend and we just happened to get insanely lucky. I never try new nail places but I was visiting SF and decided to take a chance on my last day here. It was so worth it! Amazing service, the pedi and the massage were so relaxing. Super reasonable prices, very kind and hardworking staff. 10/10 would recommend and I will return next time I’m in town."
"I got a 60 minute full body Groupon massage. No issues whatsoever using the Groupon. The owner seemed overly concerned about tipping. When I called for the appointment, he was insistent about tipping on the full value and was also insistent on tipping in cash when I arrived. Neither was a problem because I realize how hard the masseuses work and always tip generously even for mediocre massages. Sherry was my masseuse and I was pleasantly surprised with her skill level. I had planned to ask for a gentle relaxing massage but woke up with a bad neck to shoulder pain. She used deep pressure to relieve the pain and continued the same pressure throughout my massage. It was a little painful at times during the massage but I felt great when she finished. There is a language barrier but the universal "oww, oww, oww, too hard" works to ease her pressure. Ask the receptionist to explain if you want a lighter massage before she starts. I found my new massage therapist and will repeat often."
"Lack hospitality professionalism. No instructions or questions about massage strength and what is ok to be touched. No concern on how client is feeling throughout massage. Had to suck it up and not look weak. If you know the type of massage you want, ask before it starts. Never got relaxed."
"The man who handles the front was rude and awkward and overstepping his boundaries: When I first walked in he asked me what kind of massage I wanted. I told him I purchased the groupon for the 60 minute body massage. He asked me if I wanted to pay using my Groupon or pay out of pocket to save the Groupon for a future use since he claimed he was raising the prices on Groupon and I’d be getting a deal on a second massage. I hesitated and he said I could decide after the massage. The lady who massaged me was kind but the massage was honestly not good. She seemed very inexperienced. For about 40 of the 60 minutes I felt like she was just rubbing lotion on my body while applying practically no pressure. After the massage I wanted to tip the masseuse 15% of the cost I payed for the service I felt that was a fair tip for a service that I believe was not good or done by a professional. The man at the front desk wouldn’t give me change back at first and he was arguing with me to tip the masseuse more. I said I just wanted to tip her the 15%, he said if I wasn’t going to tip her more then he would have to revoke his offer on letting me keep the Groupon to pay out of pocket. This was fine with me considering I did not like the service. The masseuse was inexperienced. The man at the front desk was rude. I already decided after the massage I wanted to use the Groupon and not come back. The man shouldn’t have tried to coherce me to tip more. I think a 15% tip (which is what I payed) is a fair tip for below average service. The entire place is awkward. It has weird vibes. The masseuse seemed untrained in her craft."
"I went with my mom and boyfriend. It wasn’t a great massage. You can definitely find better massage places for better prices around Millbrae. We went for a 1 hour foot massage. My mom felt hers was inexperienced and awkward with his hands. I thought mine was mediocre... not great, not too bad. Just doing his routine. But you can definitely find better. The masseuse started the massage on my head and neck. Why did he apply EXCESSIVE amounts of lotion to my face and neck?! Buttering me up like a turkey. It was all over my hair too. The lotion was thick and unpleasant. My mom felt the same way. We didn’t have high expectations knowing beforehand that generally, asian foot massage parlors are usually no frills, simple places. Not all, but most. But this place didn’t have the right vibe. Felt like they hired a bunch of random people off the street."
