"I am very hesitant to leave bad reviews for anything. However, we really did have a bad experience. My daughter presented the stylist with a reference image/video for the stylist. Instead of giving her that haircut, the stylist gave her a completely different one--and an extremely short one at that. She's trying to accept the haircut, but her first day of high school is this coming week and she is still upset. She hates having hair that short. I know bad haircuts happen, that clients can request haircuts that end up looking awkward, but my biggest issue is this: if the stylist was not able to give her the haircut she requested, she should have said so, instead of giving her another haircut. We would have just gotten a trim instead. I mean, it's pretty shocking to me that a stylist would actually go that far astray of a request, taking that much hair off when everybody knows how sensitive people are about their hair. The haircut is so short that we just have to wait for it to grow out--there is really nothing that can be done to approximate a look my daughter feels comfortable with. When I say it's short, I mean SHORT. This will take a while for the back to grow out. Maybe it will grow out by the end of ninth grade. I feel awful that I scheduled the appointment there and in a big way ruined the beginning of high school for her. Seriously, this is breaking my heart! She's a pretty easygoing and adaptable kid, but this has her still crying five days later."

Coming from San Diego, with a destination wedding I wasn’t sure what to expect. Katie made the entire experience easy, personable and so enjoyable. She is a true, talented professional head to toe. Fantastic hair and makeup that let me shine at my trial and on the BIG day. She was kind and patient with my mom and family. She was just a joy to work with.
