"Edit since I can't respond: Correction - Farmers instead of State Farm. And no FAIR plan. I also won't throw the agent under the bus, as he has been nice, but obviously overworked. Management problem. This agency (edit: Carlson agency in Folsom, yes, this the correct agency) has been slow, unresponsive, and providing inaccurate information. While we understand that their work load is high in the current times, they should rather try to take on less clients upfront, rather than have clients wait for weeks. Over the course of about two months, this agency needed callbacks, follow-ups and check-ins at each step to move forward with their work. Also, the agent claimed there is only one insurance company in California accepting new clients, which even given the current circumstances, is not true. Our agent needed reminders to send documentation to the prospective insurance company, of which he didn't even tell us which one it was, which was weird. We ended up contacting a different agent (with Farmers directly), within 30min we had two good offers from Farmers and Bamboo, and within a few hours of the initial request we signed our Farmers home policy."
