Nolensville Insurance - Dugger Agency

"I received inappropriate services from the Nolensville Insurance -Duggar Agency. They hire independent agents to represent their business. One agent in particular , Mr. Tony Sheets, was the agent in charge of their client hitting my motor vehicle roughly two weeks prior. It took several business days for Mr. Sheets to contact me after initially reporting the incident. After which , he instructed me to get an estimate. The estimate was obtained and sent to him at his request by text and email by the end of that week. Each business day following the email I called to see how his client would be handling the matter, either via insurance or out-of-pocket payments. He stated that he knew the family personally and had texted the clients father (who is not a member listed on the insurance card) regarding a payment decision. He stated he was trying to be respectful of the clients grandmother just passing 45 days prior and with wanted to be patient with them because Mother’s Day had just passed. After being patient, waiting three additional business day, and getting the run around, I contacted his client directly (who hit me in the accident). She stated she never got an estimate from him and she was waiting on me to get one (although I sent and texted it a week prior). Additionally, she stated her husband had not heard from him and that she does not understand why he would contact her father because she is not on his insurance. Mr. Sheets response was “I texted them”. Every time Mr. Sheets said he would call back , he never did. When asked to speak to his supervisor “I do not have one”. Mr. Sheets said he could not yet give me a claim number , yet I was able to obtain the claim number and my direct claims representative directly after speaking within him. Mr. Dugger was able to offer me an an apology and Mr. Sheets continues to communicate via text messages. Their own client stated she was disgusted with Mr. Sheets’ behavior and understood my frustrations. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism at this company, the miscommunication, the sense of non-urgency when I was the individual hit. I did not appreciate his argumentative behavior and obscene comments directed towards me nor my family. I do not believe that he is a direct reflection of the company at large, or even Mr. Dugger, but as a company you should stand by and support the values you uphold. Professionalism not appear to be one of those values. I can only hope that the agency can use his repugnant behavior and as a example of what not to do in the future."
