"Dr.Bubar decided to inject me with his personal coctail of numbing solution which can and did elevate my heart rate quite high. Would not have been a problem but decided that speaking with the billing team would be best after he had done so. He was missinformed on my insurance plan and refused to hold off on one of my fillings to the beginning of the new year. I would have saved 1200 in waiting. I said very politely I did not have the funds and that it was a lot of money for me. He ridiculed me and said in exact words "that is not a lot of money". Which, obviously, is relative to each persons personal finances. There is no blanket statement on what is a lot of money to someone. I felt very uncomfortable and said I felt that my heart rate was high which they then, after the fact, explained can be a side affect of the numbing solution. I did not feel that i was in good hands and my heart rate was very high so i said i would not like to do any work that day. The next morning I received a letter from his office stating i would not be welcomed back. They then repeatedly called me for upcoming appointment reminders after telling me i was not welcomed back. At the time i was too embarrassed to tell anyone but have since spoken with an attorney and feel justified in saying the treatment I recieved from Dr. Bubar office was extremely unprofessional and adding the "cocktail", his words not mine, to the equation pushes it farther across the line. Do not let a dentist ever give you a body altering substance and then discuss financials."
