"I love Julian Imports! I have an Alpaca shawl from this store, it's so soft, comfortable and warm! I also purchased a hip pack that's absolutely great! Good quality and lots of pockets. I can't wait until my next visit, the store staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Katie. She went to one of their other stores to get a hip pack in the color I was looking for. Did I mention there are 3 store to shop from?"

She is friendly eager to help and very knowledgeable about their products. Most recently I got an Uno de 50 bracelet from them and it is amazing! And Katey was there to help find the best fit for me. "I had a very immediate need for a change of clothes for a child who was sick while traveling to Julian. It was difficult to find anything that fit him due to his young age and our needs. Although we tried one location without luck the staff was kind enough to take us to another that was under the same ownership. What we were shown worked perfectly and kept us from having to turn back. The top happened to become a favorite for the boy who needed it at the time. The effort put forth by staff in multiple locations helped make a difficult situation far easier. PS the quality of the goods purchased were also quite good."
"Employee Shadeyness! One isn't to be trusted. They shouldn't even have her employed there when she is bartering for other people's help with her rental house and then doesn't make good on them. She runs a business out of a business right under her boss' nose. Her attitude is as bad as it gets. It's alarming to have someone be so dismissive when approached on her poor deflective attitude on any given thing, as shes quick to come back at you with belittling and completely disheveled commentary. This woman needs therapy. She needs it desperately. I met her while shopping in the store during the Taste of Julian event, as they sold Brighton Bags. I will never do business in either of these stores again. The many people and business owners I do know throughout Julian, which is another reason we frequent there, will be made painfully aware of this. She stepped to me as a customer and lured me in to help her, and then used me like yesterday's garbage. It has adversely affected my entire family. Not somebody we would ever want to see again, so not a store that will ever have me nor my family or friends business moving forward. Which is sad because we frequented Julian twice a year to get all of our holiday shopping done. I've had to listen to endless derogatory comments about Katie and Becca to the point where I could gag. I'm done listening to the rantings of this woman about how Discriminatory and Unkind the Mgmt and Ownership of these 2 stores are. Better just not to do business with them. As nice as their products might be, look what it's done to their customers. Now I have a process server headed up there to get that woman served. She refuses to handle her business or return a call. So now she wants to involve this company and this store again in yet another unsavory situation. Just move along to the next store, as they too carry all the beautiful products you need including Brighton bags and you won't have to deal with the underlying issues that are like a cancer in there. Nor will you be lured as an unsuspecting customer, into a web of insanity like the one me and mine went thru, as we most recently lost our Mother. This gal kept relentlessly harassing and pressing us as we sit by my mother's bedside, pressuring us for something she wants, and for nothing. She's a user. While I adore the store products and price points, she has nothing nice to say about the people she works for or with. I would typically have written a review like the rest of the people here had this is not been my experience. Perhaps its from too much time drinking wine with her church friends I guess. Either way, no more business for you due to you're One Bad Apple, and the fact that too many disparaging things have been said about Becca and Katie. Who wants to be part of that kind of underlying problem in a store, when all as customers want is to buy goods from friendly people that we could keep coming back to in peace. Unbelievable. You've lost not just our business, but all those referrals we've brought over so many yrs. Spreading the word around Julian may help us in driving our dissatisfaction home. Now your customers get to watch her get served by a process server. Nice way to treat your customers. Hire employees who go after your customers with skill sets they want to take advantage of and for nothing. Wow. At the end of the day, to have any employee around town and abroad, bashing her Employer, Manager and Colleagues is egregious to say the least. As a business owner myself, I find it implorable, and had it been my employee, it would have been addressed before she was free to do it over such a span of time and continues to today. Those are not the kind of people I would hire to work for me. People who Damn me and my business publicly and corrupt my customers, no way. Speaks to how the stores are run. It's too bad that many of the products you sell are also carried in your competitors stores not far from you. That is where we will be found moving forward. **UPDATE: Store Mgr asked me to take down my review, but used it terminate this person"
