"This is my first time here, and one of the best haircut experiences I’ve ever had. As an Asian man, I’ve found it difficult to find barbers that felt confident in giving me a haircut that suits my hair type and face, but I definitely found it here! The owner of the salon was so incredibly thorough, and took a lot of time just to plan her approach to giving me what I wanted. She clearly is an artist at heart, and so detail oriented. She went 30 minutes over my appointment just to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a quick haircut, this isn’t the place. But, if you’re willing to spend a little (reasonably) more to get a high quality haircut, I couldn’t recommend this place any more. It’s been about 2 weeks now and I can confidently say my hair has never looked or felt better. I’m sadly from out of town, but if I were from the Bay I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my hair. Thank you Aura Spa and Salon for setting my hair up for success!"

"I got the VIP package (haircut, styling, facial, face/head/shoulder/neck massage, manicure, pedicure) a few weeks ago and it was an amazing experience. I was really busy and stressed out about work, and this was an incredibly relaxing experience. Hang does amazing work! It's a single chair in a room which is cleaned between clients for covid safety. I had a picture of a celebrity's hair and Hang not only cut and tamed my hair into that style, but also asked me if she could slightly modify the hairstyle to suit my face shape(!), which was a great attention to detail. My family said I looked five years younger afterwards, and my confidence has gone up because I'm so happy with the results. I strongly recommend choosing Aura, and I will be returning."

"Fantastic service at a more affordable cost. Plus the owner is very flexible when it comes to appointments. I needed to get my beard groomed before taking off for vacation. No appointments were available during the weekend. Hang came in an hour early to fit me in and did a fantastic job. I did not feel hurried or rushed at any point even though my appointment definitely threw her schedule off a bit. Overall she did an amazing job. My wife really liked the final look."

"I have a hard time finding a place to get my haircut since I have difficult hair (thick, curly) and I prefer my hair a bit on the longer side. I had a really good experience here though. The stylist was very attentive to my concerns but also made helpful suggestions along the way and most importantly, took her time with the cut. I will definitely be coming back!"
