"My hair appointment with Vanna was good to okay. The quality of the hair cut and hair color received were decent, I was relatively happy with the color. Overall - The staff were very friendly, though the appointment feels slightly rushed. They were able to take a last minute appointment same-day, however, which is a plus. While I feel my hair color is four star worthy, the three star rating is partially due to the lack of transparency on pricing. On the phone I was told a basic women’s hair cut started at $40 and color at $95. I specifically asked if she could give a better estimate based on what I wanted. I was told an updated estimate would be given when I arrived & before the hair cut itself (it was not). I received a basic trim (no shaping or styling) and a red ombré with a few streaks of red color towards the top of my head (no bleaching required). At checkout I was charged $40 for the cut and $140 for the color (I was told this is because my hair was thick and because of the additional red streaks). If the price was going to vary so much, it would be nice to be informed when this was clearly something I preferred clarity on. The pricing feels somewhat arbitrary. As long as you know this, the service is otherwise pretty good."

"Got an amazing haircut a couple weeks ago from Annie (maybe I am forgetting her name- she works alongside Vanna). Initially, I was really disappointed with the cut because I thought it was too short and since my hair is frizzy, it would be difficult to manage. I became very disappointed but she kept on working on my hair for hour and a half; and tried to address all my concerns like the volume, frizz, etc. by layering and giving texture to my hair. After I came back home, everyone around me complimented me on my cut. I was still not so happy. I had the keratin treatment scheduled a couple days after; it is only after the treatment that I realized what a beautiful cut it was; and truly really appreciate it. Sorry for the trouble, and thanks for an amazing cut. Effort:10/10 Styling:10/10"

"Fast, friendly, and very attentive. I called about 15 minutes before arrival to see if they took walk-ins for haircuts, they said they did, and I was helped right away! My hairdresser did an excellent job giving me what I wanted and styled it for me as well since it was a cut I had never had before. They take cash or Venmo. Very pleasant experience!"
