"Kingston offers a multifaceted recreational experience, featuring extensive walking paths, a vibrant playground, a disc golf course, and rich historical elements. The meticulously maintained park showcases stunning cityscape views, making it a picturesque destination for those seeking a breath of fresh air."
"If you're going through Kingston stop here! it's very cool shows you how things were back in the day. Dude in the main building knows a whole lot about it if you wanna know all the facts about it."
"It is a little jewel in Roan County. Beautiful location and meticulously maintained. Visiting the museum is a must, but be prepared to spend an hour or so. Jack is very welcoming and full of knowledge on the site and history and general. He will keep you enthralled as long as you will let him. My wife and I will be looking forward to returning for upcoming events at the Fort."
"To describe this place is a one word adjective, amazing! What an incredible asset to the history of middle Tennessee. And from talking to the curator very, few people know about it. To have such a place, and a curator that cares so much for the history and importance of it, truly should be both treasured, and screamed from the mountain tops that surround it. My husband, and family will be coming back as soon as it is at all possible. To everyone in Tennessee( from a Michigander that doesn't have a place like this) take your families, and tell your friends to take theirs, because it's only going to get better in the coming years."
"Fort Southwest Point is a fantastic area. There are a number of recreated buildings that you can walk through, and a load of plaques that give information on what you're looking at. The showstopper is really the place where multiple rivers come together, the views are just fantastic. There are plenty of walking paths, fitness stops, and a nice amphitheatre as well. Such a great place to walk around!"
