It's essential to know her name out of common decency. She is NOT an “old lady whose license expired in 1960”. I came in today on 02/06/2024. I’ve been a frequent client of Eluisa for the past 5 years. I get my hair bleached PLATINUM BLONDE and have NEVER had a “bad” experience, as you claim your daughter did. I know what I’m getting into: the hours, the time, the commitment to my hair. Considering how easy it is to damage, Eluisa makes it her mission to never damage and explain to all her clients before the process of whatever a client wants and ensures everyone is confident and comfortable in their decision every single time. She goes above and beyond. You said your daughter came in and was asked to remove her jacket. It's expected to have a shirt underneath, not to come with nothing, bare-breasted. She was even offered a towel to protect her attire. Ironically, at any hair salon you go to, you will be asked to remove any garments that could be damaged by bleach. Eluisa doesn’t come across as someone who boasts about her work; she will show you examples of her past work and practice to see if you like any of the examples. Eluisa is a great, honest, and dedicated woman to her work and clients. I always receive compliments on my hair wherever I go, THANKS TO ELUISA! How long and silky, how platinum and shiny. She showcases her work with confidence, and I couldn’t be any happier to have such a wonderful stylist treat me with love and dedication."

"I have the bella hair extensions. I have short thin curly hair. I chose the 20” hair extensions. It’s feels lightweight and very natural. At night I braid my hair with the extensions, in the morning I just brush out. I absolutely love it. Marisela and her team did an amazing job. Definitely recommend them!!"

"I am SUPER happy that I made an appointment for my hair here. I recently moved to Newark and was a bit nervous to find a new hair salon. I always look at reviews/stars when trying out a new place. I decided to try this salon because of all of the positive feedback I read. Maricela was so sweet and made me feel comfortable in her salon. I originally made an appointment for a haircut but out of curiosity I showed her a picture of blue hair to see if she could recreate the style it had. She told me she could and,if I wanted to, I could have it done right then and there. I decided to take the plunge and I LOVE it! It’s exactly what I wanted.
