"A bit of a party like atmosphere on an early Tuesday afternoon. Local musicians providing the entertainment on multi levels and freedom to roam from floor to or from one honky tonk to another with no cover change. The weather was decent and quite a few places had large windows that open so you could enjoy the music from the street also. Restaurants, pizza, BBQ, boot store, gift shops too. Do to time constraints we were only able to spend about 3 hours on this visit but glad we could make the trip and cross this off my bucket list."
"Music City lived up to its name. Just go on a weekday if you can. Jason aldeans bar line to get in took up the whole block on a Fri night. We couldn't get in but it's where the party is. 21 and under can get into first and second floors till 8. After 8 no entry. Third floor over 21 is req. Kid rocks bar has alot of bad language. Three nights in a row we walked out. Works like f__k flow nonstop. Good entertainment don't req that. Very noisy there. Bar hopping at its finest. Wear your tennis shoes. Alot of walking. Parking is very expensive. 45.00 for a day."
"This is Broadway Street, etc. in downtown Nashville. Definitely worth a visit both during the day and night for the music, the boot and clothing shops, the restaurants....Yes, this is the tourist part of town, but it's also full of talented musicians, and a great place to go to experience any and all of them. Most of the bars have large windows that open to the sidewalks so you can stand outside and listen to music as you're walking by or just standing out front. There is a cool five-story Ole' Red, Kid Rock's bar, and many others here, many of which have cool rooftop bars as well. The Bridgestone arena is also here. A very walkable and clean downtown area. Much fun!"
"I am definitely coming back! Great bands endless entertainment!!!...Feels good tipping performers all night for great vibes! If it's not your music go next door or up a flight of stairs."
"An essential American experience even if, or especially if, you're not a country music fan. Several blocks of music venues, most with the band right in front of an open window. Of course most bands are country, but there's plenty of rock too. Excellent people watching, and the best collection of neon signs I've ever seen. Note: We visited on Tuesday, and it was really busy. I can't imagine what it's like on Saturdays!"
