"went to the salon today super excited to do a haircut + style with Bianca D, @ 2:00. i get there about 1:55 and sitting in the waiting room until about 2:10 i ask the service man what time my service is again because maybe i got the time wrong, the man says 2:15 and i'm like perfect then sit down. i see that the text confirmed 2:00 with Bianca D. i think nothing of it because running late is normal - until it's about 2:40 i ask if they by any chance knew how much longer they would be and the man says probably 10 more minutes and im trying to have an open mind but it was hard given what time it was. it's now 2:50 and my mom called. it's now 3 and Allison a stylist pulls me over to her chair - and i ask if she will be my stylist today and she says yes. i am frustrated because Studio W Salons text system confirmed with me my stylist was Bianca D and my appointment was at 2:00. Allison starts washing my hair about a bit past 3 and i show her 4 pictures of how i would like my blowout to look - and the length of my hair. Now, allison was nice don't get me wrong - it just didn't come like a blowout it came like regular curls which i was disappointed because that's the only reason why i came to this salon because Bianca does beautiful blowouts, and Bianca is super nice and understanding, i was screaming because the service man on the phone said that they had in appointment with her available haha! we were done about 3:50/4 with no apology. my haircut came out very nice and smelled SO good from the hairspray they used, overall NOT a fan. no compensation or anything!"
"Bad haircut - My stylist was the sweetest, attentive, and considered my experience 100%. HOWEVER, the haircut I went home with was uneven and I had to get it fixed at a different salon a week later in another state. When I walked out my head felt uneven, but at the time I didn't understand what it was that was off. When I got the haircut fixed the new stylist showed me that 25% of my head didn't get any of the layers. And all the layers were uneven. I really hate writing negative reviews but I also feel that you should know what to expect. This is not a 4.9 star salon."
"I didn't want to name the hairdresser because she was very kind, but I am unhappy with my cut. I got a cut last Monday and called the store today(friday, which makes it almost two weeks) to talk to the owner (I got the manager), I explained my disappointment with the cut and she informed me that they have a week policy to be notified of unsatisfied hair cuts (2 weeks for color). Sadly, I wasn't aware of this, or I would have called within the time frame (I hate complaining and felt bad, but I finally decided I needed to. I also usually wear my hair up, so i haven't really gotten a chance to notice). The manager spoke to the owner and offered me to come in on Wednesday at 1 pm. I unfortunately couldn't take that appointment because I have work that day. I'm also a mom of 3 year old twins and dont get much time to myself, so being able to get my hair cut is a big deal. Anyway, I was informed that was the only time they could get me in, and if I couldn't make it, then I wouldn't be able to get my hair fixed.... so now I just have to deal with it. Whatever, hair grows back. I'm just disappointed that I was only given one option for a date and time. I unfortunately won't be returning for a third haircut. Other than this experience, the salon is clean and staff is friendly. I attached photos to show the cut job. FYI, I was supposed to have an A-cut with layering in the back. As you can see, the front is shorter than the back, the layers are all uneven, and the right side is totally messed up with a bigger section shorter in the front, then it's long where as the left side is a little more blended and looks better. I have no idea how the back looks. According to a friend, it looks fine, thankfully."
"If i could leave 0 stars, i would. Haven’t been to a salon in 5 years. Scheduled an appt last Friday for 10 am. I was there for 6 hours for a service that I’ve done MYSELF in my bathroom multiple times over the past 5 years in TWO hours. In the end the color was VERY spotty and bleach spots were still in my hair. My hair is now very damaged and dry and brittle when it was not like this before i went in. And i didn’t even receive the haircut i asked for. I called the next day to request a refund and they offered a refund only for the haircut (WHICH I HAVE NOT RECIEVED) and for the owner of the salon to come in and fix it. I go in for her to fix it originally wanting to cover the pink all together and she and another stylist talk me into just giving me a “root” but the owner tells me the brown wont match the rest of the brown that’s on my hair, EVEN THOUGH THEY APPLIED THAT BROWN THE DAY BEFORE. Then at the end she styled it in the worst way I’ve ever seen any hairstylist style hair. They let me walk out of the salon unhappy and with a HORRIBLE hair job, TWICE."
