"Chuck is the kind of stylist I always dreamed of having, the kind who listens carefully to what you want, makes you feel completely taken care of, spares no time or effort to getting you to the results, is transparent along the way, and on top of it all is a wonderful person with a big heart who you enjoy getting to know over time. You get everything you pay for and much more, and I say that as someone who has always been frugal with spending on beauty. I have literally never left a haircut happy until the the first time he cut my very dry, thin, curly hair (and it was a Deva cut). The compliments haven't stopped coming, two months later. Wonderful artist, wonderful man, and cannot recommend enough."

"I absolutely love my hairstylist Phat (she gets 5 stars) but so disappointed the way they got rid of their nail technician. It was not a good business move nor was the owner very professional about it. Not happy with how they run their business and treat their long term employees. But will say the hairstylist that do rent there are amazing just not good management."

"I made an appointment online for advertised $75 for color and styling. They charged me $105 which is an overcharge of $30. I called manager for refund and she has not returned any of my two calls. The hairdresser Sameh used color after leaving color for half hour which stung my scalp. This is either false advertising online or outright ripping off client. I would like my refund of $30."

"I had a wonderful experience with Chuck today for my first real Deva Cut. I had a very bad experience last year with another salon "Thirteen" in Walnut Creek. He spent time talking to me and making sure I knew that the end results would be plus understand the current condition of my hair before the scissors even came out of the pouch. No combs were used, only his fingers! Chuck really knows how to handle your hair and provide education for an overall five star experience. My hair is 3C/4A and looks great. I'm excited to finally have my curls shaped so my wash and go styles will fall into place."
