Ghina Morad, DMD

"1. New, beautiful & comfy office space! I have not visit a lot of medical offices/clinics in Bay Area but among them this office is definitely on the top in terms of its “infrastructure”. I like the decoration in the lounge, how clean and new the space + device is, and how I can see a lot information through the computer screen. 2. Attention to detail and care to patients: This is so far the first dental office I have visited that offered me sunglasses (for strong light) and blanket (for coldness). And also the first office that actually used the plaque disclosing liquid to show me where I need to take more attention to in my daily life, and my dental hygienist actually put a brush into my mouth to show me how and where to put my brush to get to that “problematic area”. I don’t think these are hard or difficult things to do for a dental office, but it is some little things that just make the visit much more comfortable and effective. 3. High tech I just did the teeth cleaning, and her office is using some new tech to do it. I am not a expert for its effectiveness, but it is indeed much more comfortable than the normal procedure. I am not a fan of “high tech for high tech sake”, but the high tech used here is really solving my pain point. 4. Dr.Morad is awesome! This is my first visit to her office, and admittedly she probably happened to not be busy that day, however —— she probably spent 2-3 hours answering my questions and providing extra information that might be helpful. I think this is definitely “above and beyond” what she is required to do. Although I am not a expert on my issue, I do get a feeling that Dr. Morad also really knows what she is talking about. - She explained to me how my TMJ issue might cause my nose and ear problems, and this is something that no other experts have told me. - She did not stop on “theories”. She actually pulled my x-ray and explained to me how to read it and what my x-ray says about my TMJ. - she mentioned quite a few stats and latest research findings, which sounds to me that she is keeping up with the advancement of the field. - she also did not stop on TMJ issue, she explained to me the problems that can be caused by TMJ issue, and help me identify the priorities (for me: sleep apnea risk is more prioritized than my “good look”) and referred me to the specialist for the related field. She is also cautious on making any guess/recommendations without data: we talked about whether a surgery for my jaw will be good for me, and she suggested to wait until the sleep study is done, and by then we can see if there is a big enough risk which is worth a surgery. Overall I feel that Dr.Morad is somebody that I can trust, as she seems to be knowledgeable, caring, and really “use logic”. Compared to some other doctors/experts that I have encountered, who charge me a lot, don’t spend listen to me, and tell me some generic stuff that I have already know from book, Dr.Morad really is the opposite. 5. Open to feedback/question/suggestion/criticism Dr.morad has explicitly told me that she is open to and really appreciates any constructive feedback. This makes me comfortable asking some questions that I normally don’t feel too much comfortable to ask, e.g. have they cleaned xxx device, e.g. have they considered not using plastic bag for “goody bag” for environmental friendliness. 6. Other random things - my hygienist was very clear about a optional service that is not covered in my insurance. - Dr. Morad was also very open and honest about “flossing manually is most effective” although she can (might) potentially make money(?) by convincing me to buy a fancy water floss device. I like the openness and honesty of them. In summary, my initial experience in this office is overwhelmingly positive so I want to let other people know!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Morad and her incredible staff. From the moment you walk into into the office, you are treated as a friend. The front desk staff are wonderful. Efficient, warm, and good natured. Never an issue to make or change an appointment, all handled with a smile and good humor. The dental assistants are caring and your comfort comes first! Dr. Morad is an amazing dentist. She has the latest most up to date technology and takes the time to discuss everything with you, answer questions and offer solutions. As someone who has suffered for years with migraines and TMJ, she has been a life saver. She is warm, funny and I always feel like I'm seeing a good friend. Actually spend a lot of time laughing! Bottom line - she cares. I'm in the process of getting my family to move to her practice. Probably the best dental office I've been to in all my years - and that's a lot of years! Dr. Morad is not only performing at the top of her profession, but she also possesses a finesse, an art, to working with patients. If anyone has any trepidation going to a dentist or orthodontist, please go see Dr. Morad and her staff, as they will treat you with decency, respect, compassion, and excellence. They will help bring a sense of peace to you, while also helping with your dental or orthodontic needs. The entire staff is extremely well selected, from the front desk and schedulers, to dental hygienists, periodontists, practice managers, financial coordinators, dental assistants, other dentists, and other people. Every person who works there is a joy to be around; they are efficient while also sensitive to patient concerns, attentive while also truly capable, and they deliver the extra mile. I have been in dentists, and orthodontists, offices since I was very young, and honestly, this entire staff makes my day every single time. This is not like my previous experiences, good though they were, they were not stellar like Dr. Morad and her staff! From phone and texts to in-person exchanges, they are lovely human beings who perform amazing services. I would not willingly go anywhere else for my dental or orthodontic needs! Moreover, the atmosphere is modern, comfortable, and soothing. I would love to work there, if only I was in their field!"

"Going to the dentist is dreadful to a lot of people, and before I became a patient here, I had my reservations too, but I can tell you that I am actually excited now when I go to this office. I always have a good experience with my teeth cleanings with Maria, and Dr. Morad's knowledge is a huge draw. I'd recommend them to anyone. The staff is fantastic, and scheduling is a synch!"

"My two teen daughters and I all got orthodontic work done with Dr Morad. She is so amazing! Not only a kind and caring person but very knowledgeable and gifted as a dentist/orthodontist.
