She knows how to get the most work done for the money. Teresa cleaned my teeth the best I have ever had done. She even remembered me from the last time and it had been forever. Ernie could fix teeth with his eyes closed. He is very gentle, fast and his attention to detail is extraordinary. Can you say, "painless"?"

"This is the best dentist I've ever been to. The staff are efficient, courteous and smart and know what they are doing. My dental hygienist is so awesome and I am glad I have her to clean my teeth. She even puts lip balm on my lips so they don't get dried and chapped and makes sure I am not gagging on my own saliva. She is so smart and gives me good information about my teeth and how to take care of them without sounding negative or making me feel bad about them. I LOVE THIS DENTIST. I am going to have to switch my husband to go here as well as my baby when he gets older!"

"Teresa was my hygienist today and not only was she pleasant and competent but also she went out of her way to educate me as she did the cleaning, giving me a mirror and pointing out how I could better floss. Overall I've been so happy with the office - they're very sensitive to my needs, talk to me about my dental health and what needs to be done. I've had some work done and am happy with results. The only negative experience was with a periodontist who's no longer there."

"I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Lavorini and his wonderful staff! Having just moved to Oakland and read some good reviews about Dr. Lavorini, I scheduled a regular appointment for next Wednesday. Last night, I was awakened by horrible dental pain and was up all night in agony. Around 8am, I got on the phone and asked if there was any way they could squeeze me in today. The staff answered quickly and courteously, offered to verify my insurance before my arrival, and told me to come down to the office as soon as possible. When I got there, I was prepared to wait for hours, since I was accommodated as a stand by/emergency appointment. As soon as I finished the new patient paperwork, they were calling my name! Then, I was greeted by the kindest and most welcoming dental staff I've ever met, made comfy in their gorgeous, loft like office, and even got to catch up on some "Chopped" episodes, while they were working on me. Dr. Lavorini or Ernie, as he offered to let me call him, has the warmest smile. I was immediately at ease, when he came into the room. He worked quickly and gently to resolve my dental problems, all the while smiling and saying reassuring things. I am so grateful to have found him and will definitely be sticking with him for as long as he continues to work!"
