"Great service, easy to get an appointment. Forgot her name, but the lady who works there is very sweet. However, I am devastated over my hair. I specifically showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted and she said she would be able to do it. I reminded her twice that I did not want it to be cut super short (only 1 inch), yet she hacked at my hair and cut off at least 5 inches. It took me 2 years to grow out my hair to the length I wanted it just for her to cut everything off. I know it is not that big of a deal, but my hair is very important to me and I am upset at how she did not listen to my request."

This did not include washing my hair, which I was fine with as the haircut looked great for the price. She is bilingual in Mandarin and English. Selina also only takes cash or Venmo. She also does keratin straightening (my quote was $250 for my hair that is about 4 inches below my shoulder) and balayage (again, my quote was $250). Happy to support this local San Mateo business!"
