"Love Universe Nails! It has been my first choice for the last 15 years. Have tried multiple places on the Peninsula and the Universe team consistently delivers the most amazing manis and pedis. It is clear how much the sisters and owners care about quality and consistency. My absolute favorite is Nancy. She creates perfection for both manis and pedis. She remembers the colors and shape that I prefer, is so thoughtful and gives fabulous foot massages. Highly recommend Universe Nails! You will be so happy you tried!"

"2 stars I give it two stars because Vi (person who did my friends pedicure was nice) and so were the color of my toes. I was there yesterday around 5:40pm with my friend getting a pedicure. The woman who did my nails tried to sneak out quickly even though she saw me waiting for 15+ min next to my friend on the pedicure chair. Vi asked her to do my nails, so she ignored her and quickly continued to shuffle to the front. At that point the 3 staff who were also working on pedicures closer to the front door stopped her and asked her to please do my pedicure. Everyone was doing a client except for her, and I was waiting for a while so doing this was pretty rude. At this point this sneaky short haired lady did my toes very aggressively and quickly. I didn’t get a full massage, I was hardly exfoliated. She painfully yanked my cuticles and hurt me while doing my toes. She somehow finishes at the same time as my friends pedicure that had started about 20 minutes earlier. Now is the next day and one of my big toes hurts. It did not hurt before. Needless to say I would just go anywhere else, there’s a bunch of other nail places nearby on this street."

"I had permanent nail polish, the next day, an extra fee was asked to fix my broken nails. Their approach was not friendly. I am not satisfied at all, I definitely do not recommend it to anyone. They also charge more than other salons. And the finished version at the end, it's amazing. We asked if you liked it, they answered yes, we liked it very much. I think they are making fun of me."
