"Dr. Haynes is a very nice guy and I have always been treated with respect by him and his staff. I do agree with the other reviewers that he never tries to upsell or force you into services you are not interested in. I will say - after multiple requests to color correct my veneers, I felt that I was ultimately denied, because Dr. Haynes did not feel like it was necessary. I found it strange that he made this aesthetic choice for me. The facilities are underwhelming and the space really feels like you are entering a flash back in time given the old equipment and decor. This makes absolutely no difference in the level of service I was given. Ultimately, I think he does good work and knows what he is doing. Lastly, I have to mention the awful pairing of toothpaste + mouthwash flavoring. I can't remember the last time I had my teeth cleaned with Cherry toothpaste and was then told to rinse using mint mouthwash. It was disgusting. That flavor combination is an acquired taste for anyone... so why not stick with mint? Bottom Line: Dr. Haynes does good work and will treat you well, but I'm ready to search around for alternative dentists for an overall better patient experience."

"Convenient location in Emeryville with gravel parking. For the past few years, I've been coming here every six months for teeth cleaning. Friendly staff and easy to schedule. Your next appointment is scheduled six months out at the end of your visit. Office staff are great about confirming appointments. The toothbrush travel kit makes me smile at the end of every visit. The ones that I don't use go in the Halloween candy bucket (you may be surprised at how excited kids get over toothbrushes on Halloween)! Going to the dentist in covid times is a little bit different, but this office is doing a great job adapting. Patients are temperature checked and fill out a form to confirm not showing symptoms. Entryways to rooms are blocked with plastic. Staff are wearing additional PPE, everyone is wearing masks when possible. Only downside is that some elective treatments are not advised (we didn't do the fluoride treatment this time). Pros: convenient location with parking, great staff, scheduling appointments is easy and straightforward, precautions taken in light of covid-19 Cons: no Invisalign expert at this practice but you can get a referral for another practice"
