"Went for our 6 year old son to get a haircut. Mona was the person that cut my son’s hair. Throughout this whole time she was very rude to my son. Now I mean I get that he’s 6 years old which requires more work but the way that she talked to my son was so uncomfortable and I bit my tongue so many times. I know for a fact she wouldn’t talk to anyone else like that and if she does, she shouldn’t be working in this field. Her customer service was trash, mood was horrible, and it looked like she did not want to do her job. Mona was so snarky, rude, mean, and sarcastic to a 6 year old that just wanted to talk and instead he gets ignored and spoken too rudely. Your age doesn’t justify you being rude to a child. My son screamed when she turned on the blow dry. Now I said he screamed. She heard him and raised her voice to say it’s not hot, I’m not hurting you, come on now it’s not hot it’s cold and laughs like she enjoys being “right”. Yet my son never said it was hot he just screamed, one maybe from excitement or two maybe because he was scared. But telling him he’s wrong and raising your voice and mocking him in a sense isn’t the way to do it. When she was done, she asked me if I liked it because” that’s the best she can do” as she’s laughing. I told her no. Now it’s the best it was going to get because of you. My son looks even worse than he did walking in and Mona says that’s the best it’s going to get. I have taken my son to numerous hair salons and never did he get treated like this and the hair cut HAHA he’s gotten better and guess what!! They were kind and talked to him. Made him feel comfortable while getting a damn haircut. If you didn’t want to work with him or kids just general then state that or find another job. If you have security cameras, please check it. Watch the way she spoke to a 6 year old. Watch her mannerisms because this was a horrible experience for me to watch and my son to go through, he just wanted to talk and is now asking me why was she so mean. Sad part is he was really excited about his haircut."

"Sam is the best she really did save my hair. I fried my hair, going through a break up and came in with a complete wet rag. Of ramen noodles she listened and really made me feel better through everything I was going through she gave me a amazing hair cut and I can gladly put a brush throughout my hair now and I feel beautiful and confident again if I could give her 10 stars I would best hair experience I could ask for while going through tough times "

"My 8 year old daughter’s haircut was a total hack job. I said, “A bob haircut with face framing layers in the front.” The stylist asked if we wanted layers in the back. I said, “No.” halfway through she asked again if we wanted layers in the back. When I said no she said, “oh.” I told her it was fine, and it really is. We even tipped her $10 on a $16 haircut because of the times we live in and we like to spread higher tips around when we can afford it. Hair grows back and it’s really no big deal. Everyone gets a bad haircut once in their life. This review is just a warning for other girl moms to maybe think twice before randomly walking into a Great Clips expecting the stylist to know what they are doing. This woman clearly didn’t."
