"Don't listen to the people giving bad reviews. Everyone here is so lovely and welcoming. I brought my very timid 5 year old in for a haircut, and Tianna made her feel so comfortable. She didn't try to rush her into the chair and gave her a tour of the salon to help her feel less anxious. My daughter loved looking at all of the artwork as well as the rainbow wigs around the salon. Tianna was so kind, patient, and gentle with her that my daughter couldn't stop talking about how much fun she had afterward. Tianna also did an amazing job on her hair, giving her the cutest little bob with bangs. Will definitely be going back!!"
"I went to Kim for a hair cut. This was my first time at this salon, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Kim came to get me after just a few minutes. She made me super comfortable and she explained the cut I wanted and how she would do it. I could not be more happy than I am now with my hair cut! 10/10 recommended this salon!"
"I have been going to Tianna for various hairstyles and colors for years and I’ve found that she is still professional, approachable, knowledgeable and always has great suggestions if I am stumped on what to do, be it a color combo, haircut or style. It’s always a treat to go in and collaborate with her."
"SO WELCOMING AND FUN!! All the ladies there are all so friendly and encouraging! The salon itself is very colorful and welcoming. Everything is always clean and neat and no matter who you choose to do your hair, the rest are nearby being incredible cheerleaders! I have been going to Tianna for years and I’ve never been dissatisfied. Tianna is a polite and skilled hairstylist. She provides consistent services every time and her prices are also reasonable. She does free consultations beforehand to ensure quality of service. She is always very patient in answering my all questions and helps me understand different styles, hair textures, and the process with my hair depending on what I’m interested in. She always does my hair fantastically. While my hair is processing, I usually find myself in conversation with Steph, Erika, Jam, Kim, Trish or Toni, depending on who is there, about how I’ve been doing, the events coming up in their salon or about my daughter. They are all so sweet and caring. If anyone out there is looking anything a little wild or even something natural, there’s a stylist here for the job guaranteed. There is so many more services available including makeup, and waxing! You can bring your whole family or bridal party! And I’m not done yet!! Because neither are they!! The salon does more than that! They hold several events at the salon that aren’t even hair related. It’s very exciting and fun to see what they come up with! I’ve attended jam sessions, poetry nights, paint nights and gem/crystal shows. Even some where all the proceeds go to benefit Hawaii, the fires in Santa Rosa or even animal shelters. They are very involved with their community and always looking for the next way to give back. It’s very admirable. I know whenever I need my hair done or a positive conversation to fill my cup, I can make an appointment here. Thank you Hair Gone Wild Family for always slaying my hair and my heart with EVERYTHING YOU GUYS DO!"
"If I could put zero stars, I would. Tianna ruined my hair. We did not have a thorough consultation before she began, we discussed for maybe 2 minutes prior. I explained that I wanted the last few inches of my hair colored in just a smooth and beautiful band, but with an even gradient up, so it didn't look like a band or uneven. She told me I was looking for balayage, though I wasn't sure that was correct, but I tried to trust her and unfortunately, a balayage was not what I was looking for, but beyond that, she completely screwed it up, so that the color was not even or uniform. There was a variation between 2-4 inches of color the whole way round and the color was the wrong color. I left very unhappy. She agreed that this was not right, didn't charge me and offered to fix my hair. I was scared to go in again and had a gut instinct not to do it, but she had already messed it up and at that point, it was going to cost me so much to color correct this with a new artist, so I tried to trust the process. Again, we did not have a thorough consultation. I explained that I wanted to rebleach and color to the highest point of what she had already done (not going any higher), so that it was even and uniform. She failed to do so, again leaving the final result very uneven as she gave me a 2nd balayage. When it wasn't looking good because it was still uneven, she started in on a 3rd balayage, going even higher up (which I tried to be okay with, for the sake of uniformity). She was about half way through, and it was here that I began watching her more closely and finally asked her if she was only dyeing half of my hair. She said yes, which I couldn't understand, because we had just discussed that I wanted all of my hair the same color up to the gradient point discussed. She pulled out my foils and began bleaching the rest of the hair, so the integrity of my hair was completely shot, as each piece was lifted differently, rather than uniformly. At the end of this bleaching, I was panicking and ready to cry. I had spent so many hours in the chair and there was terrible banding and no uniformity. She offered to give me over to another stylist in the shop and said she didn't know what else she could do, then she tried to comfort me, saying we'll just cover it with color and you won't be able to see it, which I couldn't believe, because obviously as the color lifts, you will see what she did and I did. It was patchy and gross, more and more as the days passed. Everything she bleached and dyed was virgin hair, as I just done a huge chop with her. She set me back at least 3 years on my hair journey (if I'm being generous) because now I have to wait for it all to grow out, so I can chop everything she touched off (due to the monstrosity of a job she did with the bleach) and regrow my hair to length again. Of course, I could pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars to have this color corrected, but honestly it would take a magician to get this uniform. I had come to her to spend hundreds of dollars with the expectation that I could trust her with my hair. In the end, she didn't charge me a penny because she felt guilty for destroying my hair, my scalp was colored for months and I couldn't wear my hair down without styling it because it looked so awful, especially because even my haircut was uneven. I will never go back to her. She did get the color correct in the end, which I was grateful for, but the integrity of my hair is completely shot and so is my trust. Many lessons learned. Just thought I'd give a forewarning to those in search of hair therapy. #traumatized Maybe it's 'just hair' to some, but I've honestly disassociated so much because my hair is my crown and it doesn't feel like me because it's nothing that I wanted (other than the final color achieved). I wanted a few inches of color on the bottom that smoothly blended into my hair, for a style that was low maintenance, but still edgy and cute. If I had wanted to run the risk of having my hair destroyed, I would've chanced doing it myself, not gone to a 'professional'."
