"Dr. Ingraham has been my primary for 15 years. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had and I'm 63 years old. He takes his time with each Patient and slowly , calmly finds out what's going on with you then comes up with treatments that work and he explains everything to me in a manner that I can understand. He and the entire staff are amazing. If you are looking for a primary care physician give Genesys a try."
"Terrible business model. they would not fill prescriptions since they wanted to see me, scheduled an appointment for blood testing, showed up at the blood test and the lab informed me that they did not have an order, I loose my place in line with 40 people behind me, I call Genesys to find out that they were pushing orders for the blood draw that morning I was scheduled for blood work although I scheduled weeks ahead. Not worth the hassle. There are plenty of doctors in town with onsite blood testing - no one needs to suffer like this. Cancelled my appointment and found a new doctor in 15 minutes which filled my prescriptions."
"Whoever answers the phone needs some training on how to appropriately talk to people without being condescending. I tried to add the provider as my pcp through tricare and tricare was unable to locate the provider in their system so I called to cancel my appointment and the woman’s tone was condescending and slightly rude while she kept insisting that they accept my insurance. I never argued that they didn’t accept my insurance just that my insurance company couldn’t find them therefore I couldn’t keep the appointment because my insurance would not cover it if they couldn’t find them to list them as my pcp. I suggested she call tricare herself to make sure all of their info was updated with tricare and she rudely said they have never had any issues with tricare before and that she would just cancel my appointment. Which was fine because that was the whole reason for my call. It would’ve been nice not to have the back and forth about it to begin with."
"I want to first say that Bethany McGuire is a great nurse practitioner. She listens very well and was very kind when I came in for my first visit with this office. It had been a few years since I had a regular physician and I was looking forward to having a new PCP. However, I will never return due to the lack of professionalism and sheer disrespect I received from the office manager, Charla. I would truly and wholeheartedly advise you to look elsewhere if you want to visit an office that cares about you as a patient. My first issue I had was when I called to book an appointment for some paperwork I needed filled out. The front desk staff booked me an appointment for a Wednesday and I never received a confirmation. When I arrived Wednesday morning to my appointment, I was told that they accidentally booked it on a week that had already past, and there was no availability. They instead book me an appointment for Thursday, the following day. Thursday, I arrive to my 11:40 appointment at 11:47, as I was stuck on Medical Center in traffic. I attempted to call the office at 11:40 to inform them, however, the call was not answered. When I tried to open the office door at 11:47 it was locked, so Charla opened it and told me that everyone had gone to lunch and I could no longer be seen. Instead they would try to give me a Telehealth call in an hour… after I left work and drove across town, they cancelled my appointment for being 7 minutes late… 7 minutes… Im not crazy right? I don’t put up a fight, and I accept the 1 pm tele-health call. I do ask what their no-show policy is when the front desk calls back, I’m told it’s 10-15 minutes. However, when I asked for a note for work for my appointment, they refused to write one for the appointment I left work to come to…two days in a row… They instead insisted on only giving me a note that said I had a “telehealth” appointment. When I tried to explain how this was a problem Charla quickly replied, “if your appointment was important to you then you would have been on time. I can’t help you.” Utter disregard for their patients. Clearly the only person whose schedule matters to them is their own. Other staff I experienced was kind, but Charla’s customer service and management skills are severely lacking and disappointing. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this place. The poor management is not worth the energy with much better options around and readily available."
